My working life is in judgment — Chartered Accountancy, sixteen years of practice. Lately my attention has turned to what artificial intelligence means for the profession. And quietly alongside all of it runs a more personal project about the inner climb: the mountains, the bike, and everything they taught me.

As a Chartered Accountant I built my own practice — among the first women to do so in Ludhiana, where female entrepreneurs were rare.
More recently, my attention has turned to a question every finance professional now faces: what does it mean to think bigger about AI — past the tools, to the thinking underneath? I write about adopting these tools with judgment rather than hype — what they’re genuinely good for, where they fall short, and how to keep client trust and human judgment at the centre. It is the work I most want to be useful in right now, and the subject of my blog.

“The point of AI in a practice isn’t to replace judgment with a machine — it’s to make more room for better judgment.”From the AI Literacy series
I am an explorer at heart. I find joy in travelling, trekking, and riding into the unknown, believing that every journey has something to teach.
Having completed five high-altitude treks and learned to ride a motorcycle at thirty-eight, I have come to see life as an adventure to be embraced, not controlled.
A Vipassana meditator and Reiki Level III practitioner, I strive to bring the same sense of presence, resilience, and balance to my personal life, relationships, and work. We have just one life — so I choose to live it with courage, curiosity, and purpose.
